HFC-HFSA Annual Site-Based Research Awards

The HFC and HFSA come together to identify young investigators and study coordinators who have an aptitude for clinical research and performed well throughout the year.

Our goal is to identify and promote the work of those who are outstanding participants in HF clinical trials. We are particularly interested in recognizing the diverse population of scientists across under-represented minority groups, sex, ethnicity, geographic location, and economic landscapes.  The nominations will be reviewed by a joint HFC/HFSA Awards Committee in February 2023. Winners will be notified in summer 2023 and will receive a $500 award for the HFSA Scientific Annual Meeting! The awards will be presented at the HFSA Annual Scientific Meeting in Fall 2023.

The number of awards is not fixed, and will be determined by the quality of the applicant pool. Eligibility, criteria, and nomination form available at the link below.

Nominations for 2023 are now CLOSED

This spring, we were incredibly proud to honor Dr. Ellis Unger as the first-ever recipient of the HFC Lifetime Achievement Award! We cannot thank him enough for his unmatched dedication and contribution to the heart failure field.
